Snow White & Rose Red
By : Sinu Rijo Pattara‎
This is an easy and dangerously yummy dessert idea. It is infact a sibling of our own fruit salad, only thing ia that Whipped Cream is used instead of ice cream... If you are passionate about frosting and icing cakes you would definitely have some whipping cream stored in your fridge.. The White color of the cream topping and the Red color of the fruit base gives it the name.

If you have a sweet tooth you are going to feel awesome after the take

Ingredients

Cut fruits of your choice, I used whole black seedless grapes, pomegranates, cut orange and water melon cuts, - 2 cups
Whipping Cream - 1 1/2 cups
Sugar - 2-4 tbs (according to your level) Strawberry Milk Mix - 3-4 drops
Lime Juice - 1/2 a lime's
Cornflakes - 2tbs
Chocolate chips - 2 -3tbs (optional)

Procedure

1. Put the cut fruits into a bowl and add lime juice, sugar and strawberry milk mix and combine well. Cover this and put it into the freezer to get it chilled (not frozen)

2. Add the measured whipping cream into a chilled bowl and whip it well with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form. Since my brand of whipping cream was sweetened and flavoured I didn't have to add sugar or vanilla essence while whipping. If yours is not sweetened and flavoured please add them in the process of whipping.

3. After you find stiff peaks forming add the chocolate chips and whip till the cream ceases to drop down even after putting your container upside down.

4. Takeout the cut fruits from the refrigerator. Make sure they are chilled

5. In a tall glass put 2tbs of cut fruit mix and on top of it put 1tbs cornflakes and give the glass a slight shake. On top of it put the Whipped cream mix according to your requirement, at least up to the brim of the glass.

6. You can decorate the dessert with cherries or some leftover cut fruits and serve......

This recipe can serve nearly 5 people.
