Ragi or Finger Millet Roti.

Ingredients:-
Sprouted ragi flour ------- 4-5 tbsp ( store bought)
Finely chopped onion ------------ 2-3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Boiling water

Method:-
Take ragi flour in a bowl and add salt and onion to it,mix well. To this pour boiling water little at a time and mix using a wooden spoon. The flour should get wet completely and it should form a dough ball. Cover this and keep aside for some time.

Now heat a tawa on a stove top. On a piece of foil paper/wax paper put half of the ragi dough , flatten it by finger tips to a nice medium thick round shape (you may wet your hand while doing this). Brush some oil on the top part. Invert this on to the hot tawa and carefully remove the foil/ wax paper and brush this side of the roti with oil. Now let it cook on medium heat for 2-3 mts on each side or until it is done. It won't take more than 2-3 minutes on each side as we made the dough with boiling water.

We can serve this with any Curry. Can have this for breakfast/lunch/dinner.
We can also add jeera, chopped ginger ,green chilli, coriander leaves along with onion and make another version of this roti and serve with raita.
