By:



1. 1/2 kg ( Preferably King Fish. I Used the Same )
2. Onion – 2 medium
3. Ginger & Garlic – 1 tablespoon each ( Crushed )
4. Green chilli – 3 – 4
5. Small onion – 5-6
6. Cardamom – 4 Cloves – 4 Cinnamon – 1 medium stick
7. Tomato – 2-3
8. Thin Coconut milk – 1 cup
9. Medium Coconut milk – 1 cup
10. Thick Coconut milk – 1/2 cup
11. Salt, oil & curry leaves – accordingly

For Marination

1. Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
2. Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
3. Lemon juice – 1/2 teaspoon
4. Salt

Method
---------

1. Marinate the fish pieces with pepper powder, turmeric powder, salt & lemon juice. Keep it for half an hour.
2. Shallow fry the marinated fish for just 2-3 minutes.
3. Heat oil in a pan. Splutter cardamom, cinnamon & cloves. Add crushed ginger garlic & green chillies. Add small & big onions.
4. Once the onion becomes soft add thin coconut milk. Let it boil. Add the fried fish pieces & add salt.
5. When the gravy becomes little thick add medium coconut milk. After that add tomatoes & curry
6. Leaves when the gravy becomes thick.
7. Once the tomatoes is cooked add thick coconut milk & just heat it.

Serve hot with Palappam or bread.

Note:- If you require a thicker gravy please add 2 teaspoons of corn flour to this. I add Corn flour for thickness. That’s why the curry looks thick. Try Yourself & Share
