PAPPADA BOLI/PAPPADA VADA (A NOSTALGIC TEA TIME SNACK)

INGREDIENTS :-

Pappadam/pappad -15 (dry in sunshine)
Rice flour -1 cup
Besan flour -2 tsp
kashmiri red chilli powder -3/4 tsp
Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
Salt
Sesame seeds and cumin seeds -1 tsp
Asafoetida -1/4tsp
Water
Oil to fry

METHOD :-

Make the batter by adding water, rice flour, besan flour, red chilli pwdr, turmeric pwdr, asafoetida, salt ,sesame seeds and cumin seeds.
Heat oil in a pan / iron kadai. Reduce the heat to medium. Dip each pappadam in rice batter (batter should coat well on pappadam) and deep fry till golden color on both the sides.
Drain and place on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil and store in an airtight container.
