Mushroom - Prawns MasalaBy : Padma Menon
Clean button mushrooms nd cut in to 4 to 6 pieces (250 g)
Clean prawns ( 250g)
Saute chopped onions(3 medium sized), garlic,ginger,curry leaves in a pan
When it become brown in colour add chopped tomatoes (4 to 5) . Leave it as suçh for 5 to 7 minutes
Prepare the masala separately---- In a pan add 1 table spoon oil nd heat the pan
Add greated coconut , one garlic leaf,a small piece ginger, one shallot nd roast it till it become brown in colour
Now add coriander powder nd chilli powder
When it become cool make it in to fine paste
Add this masala in to the above pan
Mix well, add salt, turmeric powder, mushrooms nd prawns
Add little water, because mushrooms contain water enough water in it.
Cook it for 7 to 10 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
Very good for chappathi, naan etc
