Wheat Halwa

Wheat puttu powder 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Ghee 1/2 cup
Water 2 cups
Milk 1 cup
Badam 7 no s grated
Saute wheat powder(I am using coarse powder not wheat flour used for rotis to get a grainy texture)in half quantity of ghee till dark brown in medium flame. Then add sugar milk
and water.since wheat powder absorbs water this mixture will thicken very fast.keep stirring in low flame adding ghee.later it will leave sides of the pan showing clear ghee at the can switch off the flame and add grated badam. Give it a try. I have not added elaichi or any flavour since wheat has a unique aroma.
