Grilled fresh corn on cobs in their husks on direct high heat is especially delicious when applied with lime juice, herbs and spices to the ear of corn before or after grilling it.

INGREDIENTS :

• Fresh ears of Corn on cobs, in their husks
• Lemon
• Rock Salt, slightly mix with black pepper powder or chatt masala

METHOD OF COOKING :

• Keep ready the charcoal grill, electric grill or gas grill, with direct high heat.
• Remove and discard the silks completely from the corn ears on cobs. Once we have removed most of the silk, wash the corn ears on cobs under running water and rinse it well.
• If the ears of corn on cobs have many layers of husk on them, peel off only the first couple of layers, leaving a few layers for protection. Do not remove all the layers.
• Place the corn in their husks on the hot grill. Turn the corn occasionally, until the husks are completely blackened and charred on all sides, about 20 to 25 minutes.
• Take out the grilled corn from the grill and let them sit for 2 minutes or until cool enough to handle. Remove the charred husks from the corn.
• Squeeze and apply the lemon juice directly on the grilled corn. Rub the salt and pepper mix or chatt masala with hand.
• Serve and enjoy the grilled sweet corn cob.
