To this add rice flour, mashed banana, sesame, salt, and fried coconut pieces. Make a soft batter like idly batter. If you need, add more water. Keep the batter for 3 hrs for soft unniappam. Then place an അപ്പകാര on the flame. Pour the oil and ghee, mixed together to each കാര. When it becomes hot, pour the batter to each കാര . Keep the flame medium. Turn the അപ്പം to other side. When it becomes brown colour, remove from the കാര to a tissue paper.
Tips: If you wish to make the ഉണ്ണിയപ്പം in the morning, you can prepare the batter in the previous night. (But do not keep the batter in the refrigerator) ഏലക്ക പൊടിയോ ചുക്ക് പൊടിയോ ചേർക്കാം.
