ബിരിയാണിയുടെ ഒപ്പം തൊട്ടു കൂട്ടാൻ ഈന്തപഴം നാരങ്ങാ അച്ചാർ ....നല്ല എരിവും പുളിയും മധുരവും ഒക്കെയുണ്ട് .

തയ്യാറാകുന്ന വിധം :
Ingredients:
1.) Dry Dates - 1 bowl
2.) Lemon - Big 1 no
3.) Ginger - chopped 1/2 cup
4.) Garlic - chopped 1/2 cup
5.) Green chillies - 6-7 nos
6.) Curry leaves - a few
7.) Fenugreek powder - 1 tsp
8.) Asafoetida powder - 1/2 tsp
9.) Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
10.) Chilly powder - 2 tbsp
11.) Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
12.) Fenugreek seeds - 1/2tsp
13.) Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
14.) Gingelly oil - 4 tbsp
15.) Vineger - 4 tbsp ( I used apple cidar vinegar)
Preparation Method:
1.) Steam the lemon for 15 minutes. Set it aside to cool down completely and slice it into thin pieces.
2.) In a pan heat gingelly oil and add mustard seeds . When it splutters add fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chillies, chopped ginger and garlic.Saute it well
3.) Add the turmeric powder, chilly powder, fenugreek powder and asafoetida . Saute it for few seconds ,turn of the heat and move the pickle masala to another bowl.
4.) Now in the same pan heat some gingelly oil again and add the dry dates. Stir fry the dates for 2minutes in medium heat.
5.) Add the sliced lemon pieces to the pan along with the pickle masala.
6.) Saute it for few seconds, add the required salt (always make sure that you add enough salt for the pickle).
7.) Turn off the heat ,and finally add the vinegar.
Dates and lime pickle is ready. Allow it to cool completely and serve it after 24 hours.
